How do I make deposits to and withdrawals from my e-Money Market account?
After making your initial deposit by electronic transfer or check, you can link your e-Money Market account with up to six accounts that you hold at other institutions. Once a link is set up, you simply login to your account at AmtrustDirect.com where you can easily transfer money between your e-Money Market account and your linked accounts at other financial institutions.

What is a linked external account?
A linked external account is an account that you hold at another financial institution and that you designate for online fund transfers into and out of your e-Money Market account. You are permitted to link up to six accounts to your e-Money Market account.

How do I access the External Transfer service?

Our external transfer functionality makes it simple to link your e-Money Market account to accounts you own at other banks and easily transfer money into your e-Money Market account to take advantage of our great rates.
1. Login from the AmTrust Direct home page.
2. Enter your user ID and password to login to online banking.
3. Click on your e-Money Market account from the online banking home page (initially identified as "Checking") to go to the Account History" page.
4. Click the "External Transfer" button on the top of the page. You will be asked to re-enter your social security number and the last four digits of your e-Money Market account number to identify yourself as an AmTrust Direct customer.

How do I add or delete a linked external account?
Once you've reached the External Transfer section (see "How do I access the External Account function" above) you can easily add or delete a linked external account.

To add a new external account, click on the "add external account" button and follow the simple steps.

External accounts can be easily removed by clicking the "Remove" button in the next to the account that you want to remove. Please note that once a linked external account is deleted, you cannot re-link it.

What are the transfer frequency options?
One-Time - This transfer will occur only one time.
Weekly - A weekly transfer will recur each week on the day of the week on which the original transfer was scheduled (e.g., every Friday).
Bi-Weekly - A bi-weekly transfer will recur every other week on the day of the week on which the original transfer was scheduled (e.g., every other Tuesday).
Monthly - A monthly transfer will recur each month on the date on which the original transfer was scheduled (e.g., on the 15th of every month).
Quarterly - A quarterly transfer will recur four times per year on the day on which the original transfer was scheduled (e.g., on the 20th of the month, every 3 months).
Annual - An annual transfer will recur each year on the day on which the original transfer was scheduled (e.g., on February 1, every year).

How do I edit or delete a future one-time transfer or a Smart Save-Up Plan recurring transfer?
Click on the "Transfer Details" button on the Manage my external bank accounts screen.

Edit a future one-time transfer or a Smart Save-Up Plan recurring transfer.
  1. Choose "edit" for the Future Scheduled Transfer that you would like to change.
  2. Edit your transfer information on the Transfer Funds screen and click "Submit".
  3. This process typically takes 2 to 4 business days to complete. You will receive an email confirmation once the edit is complete.

Delete a future one-time transfer or a Smart Save-Up Plan recurring transfer.
  1. Choose "delete" for the Future Scheduled Transfer that you would like to cancel.
  2. You will be required to confirm the deletion request, click the "Yes" button to confirm the deletion.
  3. Your transfer will be deleted immediately. You will also receive an email confirmation.

What is the latest time I can schedule a transfer to occur the next day?
If we receive your transfer request by 6:00 p.m. EST, your transaction will be processed the next business day. If we receive your transfer request after 6 p.m. EST, it will be processed the second business day after you submitted the request.

Does the e-Money Market account have fees or minimum balance requirements once the account is opened?
No. Once the account is opened, there are no minimum balance requirements or monthly fees for the e-Money Market account. Simply maintain a balance of $0.01 or more, and you will always have access to the benefits that the e-Money Market account provides. Additionally, there is no charge for making one-time or recurring transfers into or out of your e-Money Market account.

No, ATM transactions are not available for this account. However, the e-Money Market account offers account holders easy access to their money through electronic transfers to linked accounts.

Are there limits on the number of withdrawals or deposits that I can make?
There is no limit on the number of deposits you can make each month. However federal regulations require us to limit the number of withdrawals from the e-Money Market account to six per month.

Are there limits on the dollar amount that I may transfer out of my account?
Yes. For security reasons, electronic transfers out of an e-Money Market account are limited to $100,000 per day and $2,500,000 per month.

How do I set up my AmTrust Direct e-Money Market account as a linked account with another

When linking your AmTrust Direct e-Money Market account to an account at another financial institution, you will need to set-up your e-Money Market account type as a "checking" account. Otherwise, any transactions to or from your AmTrust Direct e-Money Market account will not be processed.
